I will say- if you can get the necessary from micronutrients from a natural food source, please do (click here for list). Some compounds are only available in supplement form, but most are in foods if you can change your lifestyle.
With that said, I understand lifestyle changes are hard. I used supplements to bridge that gap until I changed my habits, and continue to use them based on medical studies and/or promising anecdotal evidence.
